Focusing on my extensive experience, I am a qualified and time served inspector who has decided to start my own business. This will allow me to truly concentrate on providing exemplary customer care, a trustworthy service at a very competitive price.
For 25 years I was a career soldier with integrity, values and high standards. I believe in common sense, hard graft, communication (get it right 1st time) and leading from the front.
I am hands on, and will provide a highly knowledgeable and honest service personalised to your needs.
My focus is to ensure that you are using safe equipment, reduce your costs, improving your effectiveness and maintaining your company image.
The core belief of the business is the end user, the person actually using the equipment.
The name of my business is driven by the user (the boots on the ground).
The Inspection Process

All lifting and plant equipment must be thoroughly maintained and inspected on a regular basis with properly maintained records.
The inspection regime is 3, 6 or 12 months however this can be reduced depending on: frequency of use, local site conditions and manufacturer's recommendations etc.
My inspection process includes the thorough inspection of lifting and plant equipment and a recording of the inspection to include:
- Any repairs carried out, condemning and quarantine/correct disposal of any unsafe items.
- Any recommendations for repairing/ re-examination of items and next due date.
- The system utilised is fully electronic where you willl have full visibility of your equipment reports instantly.
- All loose items will be tagged and colour coded to help identify the in date inspection.
- The inspection process can be fully pre programmed in a hassle free way allowing you to concentrate on your core business.
A Tailored Serice
To minimise downtime and reduce costs to your business.
Where feasible, any failed items will be repaired or replaced during the inspection process.
Any condemned items will be quarantined or correctly destroyed and disposed of, depending on your company policy.
A tailored service can be arranged around your requirements. Out of normal working hours inspections can be arranged to keep your wheels turning.
Do you operate a lorry loader mounted crane?
A risk assessment and method statement are required if you are conducting lifting operations.
A lift plan will encompass both. I can help produce a generic plan for your day to day routine lifting activities.
